Located in Nanao on the Noto Peninsula, this small inn features just two rooms on
Ipponsugi Street, which boasts a 600-year history.
We designed the space to provide an escape from everyday life, while ensuring you feel as relaxed as if you were at home. The rooms at Room design hotel are part of an ongoing
dream for us, who run an architectural design firm. We plan to continue refining the
space, gradually bringing this dream to life. Please take a moment to relax at the hotel
and enjoy exploring the nature and culture of the Noto Peninsula.

Located in Nanao on the Noto Peninsula, this small inn features just two rooms on Ipponsugi Street, which boasts a 600-year history.

Rooms
The ground floor features a shared lounge space with OKADA ARCHITECTS, an architectural firm.
Rooms 201 and 202 are located on the second floor. Room 201 can accommodate up to eight guests, and Room 202 can accommodate up to three.
Room 201
This spacious room features large windows that face the shopping street and allow natural light to stream in. It also has a raised seating area with Ate (Noto cypress) wood flooring and a carefully curated interior design. The kitchen and dining area are equipped for long-term stays. To accommodate larger groups, the room contains two semi-double beds and four single beds. For your comfort, there is an enamel bathtub with excellent heat retention. (Capacity: 8 guests)

Kitchen area: Refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, frying pan, pot, kitchen knife, chopping board, ladle, kitchen shears, peeler, plates, cups, chopsticks, cutlery, etc.
Bath area:
Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, hand towels and bath towels.
Bedroom area:
Two semi-double beds (billerbeck/Milfi) and four single beds (Magniflex).

Room 202
This south-facing rooms is very bright. The wood-paneled walls create an interior that exudes a warm, natural feel. This room has two semi-double beds and a uniquely designed shower room. (Capacity: 3 people)

Living area: Mini-kitchen with mini-fridge, electric kettle, sofa, coffee table and clothes rack.
Bathroom area: Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, hand soap, hand towels, bath towels.
Bedroom area: Two semi-double beds (billerbeck / Milfi).

Stay Information
Check-in and Check-out
You can enter the building through the automatic doors at the main entrance between 10:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. Please check in using the touchscreen panel located in the communal lounge on the ground floor. After checking in, please take the stairs at the back of the ground floor to reach your room on the second floor. You can unlock your room using your card key. Please also use the touchscreen panel to check out. Please return your card key when you check out.
Night-time Access
The main automatic doors will be locked from 6:00 pm until 10:00 the following morning, so please use the night-time entrance on the left during this time. We will provide you with the access code for this entrance in advance. To unlock the door, please enter the code and then press the checkmark button.
Accommodation Rules
Check-in: 3:00 pm–11:00 pm
Check-out: 11:00 am
Please note that the facility is reserved for cleaning and room preparation from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm.
- - Please take responsibility for your own luggage and valuables. Please note that we cannot be held liable for any loss or damage.
- - Smoking including the use of heated tobacco products and e-cigarettes is prohibited inside the room.
- - Please use the provided bedding according to the number of beds reserved.
- - If you plan on staying for multiple nights, please let us know your preference regarding the room cleaning when you make your reservation. If you do not require cleaning, you may use the room between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm.
- - Pets are not permitted to accompany guests or stay overnight.
- - If you cause any damage to the facility or its furnishings through intentional or negligent acts, we will charge you for the cost of repairs.
